late summer

just a nice late summer evening. where has the summer gone? I really can't believe it's mid August already. fall is my absolute favorite season of all but I still get a little sad that summer is coming to an end. but oh man how I am looking forward to those warm fall days and cool crisp nights....September I do love.

saturday we got out and headed to the park. keith came along as well which makes playing at the park a whole lot easier. that extra set of hands, and eyes goes a long way when your running after two under two at the park.

this family right here loves the beach in the evenings. no crowd, no hot blazing sun, no sunblock in the eyes, yes please.

we are done with bottles!!!!! well let's hope at least. I feel like I should be sad about that but surprisingly I'm not.

yay for books

the twins borrowed there first library books today. they both were beyond excited to leave the library with a stack of new books to read. I hope to make this little library trip a weekly visit for them. beside the benefit of leaving with new books to read, the library has such a nice children's area to play and hang out. it's also a nice break from this heat wave.
