oh little chihuahua of mine I wish you were friendly and enjoyed people other than Keith and I. the twins adore you and think you're so funny but since you're so grumpy you don't come out to play. you spend your days sleeping in your secret hiding spots, or lounging in the kitchen safe because of the baby gate.

oh little chihuahua of mine i love you so very much and I love our cuddles when the babies nap, and feeling your warm little body next to me at night but man, you are a grumpy, mean little guy.  if we ask the twins what does trey do, they growl.

weekend happenings

we had a beautiful weekend filled with perfect fall weather and a fun family outing to a local state park. I truly cannot get enough of the ocean, I love the sounds and smells and the feeling of calmness when I'm near it. this time of year is perfect to go to the beach. no worries of crowds, sun block in the eyes, and hot sun beating down on you. fall beach days, I'll take you any day.

what aiden and Ella eat

lunch today consisted of avocados, wheat crackers, hummus, and brown rice with veggies from mamas soup. the biggest hit as always is the hummus, these two eat it by the spoonfuls.

randoms from the week

it's been a quiet week here as we try and get back to our normal routine after two weddings in one weekend last weekend. food shopping, a play date, and a bunch of laundry kind of week.

pay it forward

last week we had pizza on the boardwalk. while eating our lunch I had left the twins giant double stroller parked outside of the restaurant. it was a slow day on the boardwalk and I parked it in a place where I could keep a eye on it during lunch. the twins were being extra silly during lunch as we ate, so there were a lot of laughs and eating of good pizza. we made our way out of the shop and on top of our stroller was this. how awesome! a small little gesture but wow made my day to have a complete stranger leave me a ten dollar gift card for coffee. we looked around to thank someone but no one was there. now I need to figure out how to pay it forward and do something nice for a complete strange.
